Globe and Mail Project: #14, NEW YEAR'S EVE TURF WAR BLACKENS EYE OF OLYMPIC TORCH RELAY

Olimpic torchbearers squared off
New Year's Eve, after talks with
David Letterman failed to resolve
a dispute over coveted turf
along the route of the 45,000 km relay.
This is the 14th of my Globe and Mail collages which I will be making daily for the duration of my free 3 month subscription.

I laud you for your use of the newspaper. Wonderful that you are "rocking it" with this quaint relic.

Caesar, if the newspaper business comes to a halt, what will we collage with, wrap our fish with and line our catboxes with, not to mention pirate hats and paper mache piggy banks. Oh yeah, and the news!

True enough Timothy. I am also concerned for the ink sellers and makers. And what of the soap companies who are there for us to wash the ink off of our hands. There would be world wide devastation. Oh well.
