Globe and Mail Project: #31, WEB SURFERS DOCK AT BEACH RESORTS

WEB SURFERS DOCK AT BEACH RESORTS
Resort owners worldwide, have been installing
computer docking stations on popular beaches
to satisfy increasing demand by urbanite tourists
who refuse to "unplug" while on vacation.
"Our thrill-seeking guests opt for the
floating desks, while most just want to sit
on the beach", said one hotel owner.

Perhaps in such circumstances, desks should be equipped with adequate personal flotation devices and an airhorn. Maybe a flare-gun. We all know what happened to Gilligan.
