Globe and Mail Project: #6, ENDANGERED ANIMALS OR HERITAGE SITES, CITY MUST CHOOSE

Couple flees as extremely rare white rhino
devestates another endangered heritage site.
"It's either the rhinos or the heritage sites", said one city official,
"we can't save them both".
So begins week 2 of my current project, 90 days of collage from the Globe and mail. Check in daily (Monday to Saturday) for collages made with clippings from each day's paper.

Dear Mr. Hunt,

I think there is more to this collage than you are revealing. I hope you will allow me this observation.

While it is true that the white rhino is a dangerous and endangered species, alas so too are the vaudeville theatre productions so proudly displayed upon the side of the endearing theatre facade. Perhaps the rhino is a stage hand and the fleeing couple theatre management?

Ah, Caesar, you are always one step ahead. Perhaps you have subconsciously tapped into my love for the Theatre of the Absurd, particularly, Ianesco's The Rhinoceros.

Well said, Sir.
