Globe and Mail Project: #53, OBAMA'S NEW PET

(click on image to view larger version)
President Obama and his new pet owl Barney, are greeted
with mixed reactions from White House staff. While not
an ideal indoor pet and prone to regurgitation, the
President is confident that the nocturnal bird of
prey will rid the White House of vermin.

Collage #52 of my Globe and Mail Project: deconstructing Canada's National Newspaper and putting it back together to try and make sense of the world. All images used in this collage were clipped from today's Globe.

Kudos to the prez. He's a real hands-on guy. Most folks just hire PCO or Verminators, him? He does it himself. Maybe the vermin keep him awake and maybe he just likes the hunt; thinking about it now, could Presidential falconry be next?

Choosing the right bird for your arm can be as important as the choice of jacket for a dinner. You can quote me on that, Johnny.
