Check out new work by Annette Hegel, Tanis Dennis and Claude Lemay at their Studio at 88 Main St. Friday Dec. 3 from 7-10pm.

I'll be exhibiting three pieces in Rumour Has It at Cyclelogik at 1111a Wellington St. West. The opening is friday night beginning at 8 pm. Come on by and check out art from 40 local artists at this very cool cafe/bike shop!

This will be my 3rd time participating in this annual fund-raising art auction. I don't have a picture of my submission right now, but it eludes to a romantic interlude between Captain Highliner and Carnivale hero, Bonhomme. Come on out to the Saw Gallery this Friday night and buy some local art!
Just over a week to go until Urban Art @ Minto Park and things are coming together nicely. We have a selection of over 60 local artists. Some are veterans of this 5th annual event (2nd that Katie and I have put together) and for some it will be their first show ever! We have several collectives and will have a booth for Ottawa School of Art Grads and a table for Lady Evelyn Alternative School, who will be selling hand-painted canvas shopping bags as a school fundraiser. Post an anonymous message at the Post-it Secrets booth, or leave your mark with a chalk drawing on the boulevard of this beautiful downtown Ottawa park.
In conjunction with 2wp and the Stone Book performance by Jan Andrews at the 2010 Wakefield Piggyback Fringe Festival, Ottawa artists Timothy Hunt and Annette Hegel will facilitate the audience interactive construction of freestanding stone sculptures at the Molo CafĂ© and the Wakefield Farmer’s market on Saturday, June 26th between 11am and 2pm.
Timothy can be contacted at timhuntottawa@gmail.com
